According to La Razon, Arsenal central defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos is on the radar of Real Betis.
It has been reported by the Spanish news outlet that Betis manager Manuel Pellegrini has personally asked Betis to sign the Arsenal defender, who joined the Gunners from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2018 for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £17.7 million.
The report has stated that Arsenal are in talks with the Greece international over terminating his contract this month, a claim that The Times made earlier this month.

Leaving Arsenal for Real Betis
Betis are a big and established club in La Liga, and a move from Arsenal to the Spanish outfit would make sense for Sokratis.
The 32-year-old is not part of Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta’s Premier League squad and is unlikely to be included if he stays at the Emirates Stadium beyond January.
The Greece international still has a lot to offer despite being 32 years of age, and he would help Betis in their push for the European places in La Liga table this season.
Betis are 10th in the league table at the moment with 23 points from 18 matches, just four points behind seventh-placed Granada.
