West Bromwich Albion are interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur left-back Danny Rose in the January transfer window, according to The Sun.
It has been reported that West Brom boss Sam Allardyce wants to bring Rose to The Hawthorns this month.
Rose is not part of Spurs head coach Jose Mourinho’s Premier League squad at the moment and could reportedly have his contract mutually terminated this month.
West Brom want the England international left-back, but Rose prefers a move to La Liga or the Bundesliga, with clubs in Spain and Germany showing interest in him, according to the report.
West Brom are fighting for survival in the Premier League, and having challenged for the league title and having played in the Champions League for years at Spurs, Rose may find it quite different at the Baggies.
Rose has played his entire professional club football career in England, and a move to Spain or Germany for the remaining months of the season would be good for his development and allow him to get a different experience.
The Englishman is still only 30 years of age, and he has a lot to offer.
