Disney+ has just released the latest Marvel series named “WandaVision” and fans are already hooked.
Only the first two episodes were released on January 15th, but even the couple of episodes have given viewers food for thought and they are hungry for more.
The miniseries based on the Marvel Comics takes place after the events of the renowned Avengers: Endgame and it looks promising.
The series consists of nine parts, which are set to be released weekly.
WandaVision series explained
WandaVision takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019). Wanda Maximoff, also known as Scarlet Witch, and Vision are living the ideal suburban life in the town of Westview, trying to conceal their powers and live a normal life together as a couple.
They travel through the decades and experience life together, resembling many TV shows in the meantime, as they go from black and white to colourful tones.
Elizabeth Olsen plays the role of Wanda and Paul Bettany the role of Vision; they are the protagonists of the series.
In the second episode, and currently the latest episode of the series, there have been many children references throughout it, letting people wonder whether Wanda can really be pregnant.
Is Wanda pregnant in WandaVision?
Fans believe that Wanda isn’t really pregnant, and assume that the couple is living an illusion, that will be later on unravelled in the following episodes of the series on Disney+.
In the second episode, Wanda and Vision are seen to be looking at school places and the chant “for the children” is overemphasised in the fundraising talent show.
Given that the pair is going through time quickly, the situation and circumstances change fast.
By the end of the second episode, Wanda is seen visibly pregnant as her belly has grown.
She asks Vision: “Vision…is this really happening?” and Vision responds “Yes my love. It’s really happening.” But is it really happening though? We have yet to find out.
