A Reloaded roadmap for Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season One has been shared by Activision, and there’s plenty to be excited about. While there’s still stuff to arrive in the near future such as a new multiplayer map named Express, there is a new mode live right now named Dropkick. Some people are asking what is Dropkick in Black Ops Cold War, and here you’ll discover the rules and how to win the newest Call of Duty mode.
While Warzone has received a lot of criticism since its integration with the newest Call of Duty instalment back in December, the Reloaded announcement is good news, and so is Activision’s second DMR nerf in only a week. And, as if the DMR nerf wasn’t good enough on its own, the recently returning stim glitch has also been patched out.
All of the above is good news for Warzone, but – away from the battle royale experience – below you’ll discover what the new Dropkick mode is in Black Ops Cold War.
What is Dropkick in Black Ops Cold War?
Dropkick is a new game mode in Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War courtesy of Season One Reloaded.
While some parts of Black Ops Cold War Season One Reloaded are yet to arrive, the new Dropkick mode is now available for Call of Duty players to enjoy.
In addition to the mode which this piece focuses on, other features from Season One Reloaded that are now available include Zombies Cranked as well as a free access week for Zombies from now until January 21st.
There’s a new multiplayer map named Sanatorium which is also now available, along with a fresh weapon named Wakizashi.
As for what you can look forward to in the near future, a fresh Operator named Zenya will be available on January 21st, and a new multiplayer map named Express will arrive on February 4th.
In addition, there will also be an all-new Zombies map called Firebase Z on February 4th.
Cold War Dropkick mode rules and how to win
The rules and how to win Dropkick mode in Black Ops Cold War have been shared by Activision.
Activision’s rules and description of Dropkick in Black Ops Cold War say that the mode features two teams fighting for control of a nuclear briefcase.
It begins with each team racing to the location of said briefcase in order to pick it up first, and whoever manages to grab it will automatically be given a powerful pistol.
In addition, the team with the nuclear briefcase also gain access to launch codes as well as an ever-increasing score.
As for how you win in Black Ops Cold War, your team must hold onto the brifcase until the score limit of 200 is reached. Once this has happened, you will receive orders to execute a nuclear strike.
Know that if you die while your team controls the briefcase, you will not respawn until the carrier has been killed and the briefcase has been dropped.
And that’s all you need to know about the new mode in Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War.
