Aston Villa winger Trezeguet will hold talks over a potential move to Galatasaray this week, according to Sporx.
Whatever happens between now and February 1, the Egyptian international will forever hold a special place in the hearts of many Villa fans.
Trezeguet scored some truly huge goals as Dean Smith’s side pulled off a Houdini-esque escape from relegation last season, including the winner against Arsenal and two in a nerve-shredding victory over Crystal Palace.

It has to be said, however, that such moments of match-winning magic have been few and far between.
For the most part, a man signed from Anderlecht in a £9 million deal has often infuriated the Holte End faithful with his wastefulness in the final third.

There are no concerns about his work-rate; his productivity… well that’s another matter entirely.
Trezeguet missed most of the festive period with an injury and it seems unlikely that the 26-year-old will be getting back into the starting XI any time soon; particularly with Anwar El Ghazi and Bertrand Traore improving all the time.
Sporx claims that Trezeguet, who earns £32,000-a-week, is concerned about a potential lack of game-time at Villa Park and will hold talks over a switch to 2019 Turkish champions Galatasaray this week.
The Istanbul-based giants are hoping to strike a loan deal until the end of the season for a player they have been trying to sign since his impressive displays for Egypt at the 2018 World Cup.
