It sees users doing a specific dance, nicknamed a ‘Junebug walk’, in various different locations. Then, you edit all the clips together to make one long video.

Who started the Junebug Challenge?

The challenge was created by a social media personality and digital creator who goes by the name of @juneelite on TikTok.

Based in Los Angeles, he calls himself Junebug, which is where the name of the challenge originated.

He posted his first #junebugchallenge video to TikTok and Instagram on December 24th and committed to posting a new challenge video every day until it went viral on social media.

The song that’s associated with the challenge is called BeatBox by American rapper SpotemGottem. It was chosen by Junebug when he created the challenge in December.
