According to The Sun, West Ham United are considering a deal to sign Hertha Berlin striker Krzysztof Piatek.
It’s claimed that West Ham are prioritising the signing of a new centre forward having allowed Sebastien Haller to join Ajax.
Piatek is one player on the radar, with Hertha believed to be open to loaning him out with an option to buy at the end of the season.
The 25-year-old has only bagged four goals and two assists this season, and it looks like Hertha will let him go just a year since signing him from AC Milan.
Piatek became a sensation in the 2018-19 season with 19 goals in 21 games for Genoa, earning himself a big-money move to Milan.
The Pole started hot, but ended up moving on to Hertha for £23.5m last January after just a year at the club – and the same thing could happen again.

What’s interesting is that Piatek turned down West Ham last January according to The Mirror, believing that he could earn a move to a bigger club.
Piatek joined Hertha instead, but may be forced to reconsider a move to West Ham again as David Moyes plots a move to land him.
