According to The Telegraph, Napoli are back in the market for Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney having missed out on him in 2019.
Arsenal won the race to sign Tierney from Celtic in the summer of 2019, paying £25million to lure him down from Scotland.
That left Napoli disappointed, as they had spent time pursuing the Scotland international before ultimately losing out to Arsenal.
Napoli remain in the hunt for a left back, and want to sign Chelsea’s Emerson Palmieri on loan to tide them over until they can launch a permanent bid for Tierney.
The 23-year-old has been one of Arsenal’s shining lights this season, registering one goal and two assists in 16 Premier League games.
Tierney still has more than three years left on his Arsenal deal, so they would be under no pressure to sell any time soon.

Would Tierney even want to make such a move? Napoli aren’t exactly in title contention over in Italy, and there’s no guarantee they will even be in the Champions League next season.
Mikel Arteta recently told Sky Sports that he thinks Tierney is a ‘natural leader’ and could be Arsenal captain one day, so we just can’t see him trading that in for a move to Napoli.
