Serge Gnabry believes Bayern Munich teammate Jamal Musiala is an ‘amazing’ talent capable of shining for the German national team, as he told the Daily Mail amid reported interest from Liverpool.
One of European football’s most exciting talents is at the centre of an almighty tug of war – and not just at international level.
As old rivals England and Germany go head-to-head to secure the services of a 17-year-old wonder-kid born in Stuttgart but raised in London, there are also doubts about which club he will play for next season.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is a huge fan and, with Musiala yet to extend a contract that expires in 2022, the Premier League champions are planning an ambitious raid of their German counterparts.
Understandably, Bayern are not going to let Musiala go without a fight.
A twinkle-toed youngster who will celebrate his 18th birthday next month could be offered a new £100,000-a-week deal; one that threatens to make him one of the best-paid teenagers in world football (Mail).
“Ain’t no chance we’re letting that talent go!” said Gnabry as FC Hollywood look to tie down one of the game’s up-and-coming stars. “He’s a great, great player.

“The first couple of times he showed up in training we already knew he was going to be a superb player.
“His talent is amazing. He isn’t shy of anything. He has a lot of time on his hands and I hope he will continue to grow, and use his talents for Germany instead of England – to my benefit!”
Musiala, who has also been labelled ‘extraordinary‘ by Bayern Munich legend Michael Ballack, has scored three times in 11 Bundesliga appearances this season and sparkled in titanic clashes with RB Leipzig and Atletico Madrid.
