The Newcastle United legend was impressed by the performances of Tottenham midfielder Alli and forward Vinicius in the first half of the FA Cup third-round tie on Sunday evening.
Vinicius scored a hat-trick for Spurs in their 5-0 win, while Alli provided an assist and played well in the middle of the park.
