Arsenal are into the fourth round of the FA Cup after beating Newcastle United 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday evening.

The Gunners were flat an uninspired for much of the game, and fans around the country no doubt uttered an audible sigh when the game went to extra time.

It took until the second half of extra time for Arsenal to make the breakthrough, with Emile Smith Rowe firing in a fine left-footed drive.

Kieran Tierney crossed for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to make it 2-0, giving Arsenal a passage through to the fourth round in a game that won’t live long in the memory.

Still, it was another big moment for Smith Rowe, as the 20-year-old continues to shine in the Arsenal first-team having made a big impact of late.

Smith Rowe was actually sent off against Newcastle, but the decision was rescinded, and he went on to score the key goal to put Arsenal ahead.

Smith Rowe posted just three words, stating ‘no better feeling’ as he celebrated his goal, with Arsenal fans surely loving what they’re seeing from the playmaker.
