The striker, who Paul Merson has said is ‘unplayable’ on his day in the Daily Star, is proven in the Premier League and still is more than capable of performing at the very top level.
Giroud has nine goals in just 15 games for Chelsea this season and if he could keep up that scoring rate after signing for West Ham then he would be a major upgrade on Haller, who struggled for goals throughout his time in the Premier League.
