West Ham United are tipped as contenders to sign Olivier Giroud from Chelsea this month by EuroSport.
West Ham are apparently looking into the costs of a deal to sign Giroud, who thinks that an exit is a possibility.
The experienced French striker has been in good scoring form this season, but Frank Lampard seemingly only views him as a back-up option.
At West Ham he would more than likely be brought in as a regular starter, following the departure of Sebestien Haller to Ajax.
The switch could be a prove a tempting one, according to the update, as Giroud would be given the opportunity to stay in London.
If West Ham were to sign the target-man, he could be an exciting addition to their squad, despite his advancing years.

The striker, who Paul Merson has said is ‘unplayable’ on his day in the Daily Star, is proven in the Premier League and still is more than capable of performing at the very top level.
Giroud has nine goals in just 15 games for Chelsea this season and if he could keep up that scoring rate after signing for West Ham then he would be a major upgrade on Haller, who struggled for goals throughout his time in the Premier League.
