Tottenham legend Graham Roberts has taken to Twitter to praise Moussa Sissoko for his performance in the 2-0 win over Brentford.
The France international opened the scoring early on with an excellent header into the top-right corner, following a great cross from Sergio Reguilon.

Aside from his goal, Sissoko – who earns £80,000-a-week – delivered a fine all-round display, which clearly caught the eye of Roberts.

As aforesaid, scoring a goal wasn’t the only good thing Sissoko did against the Bees.
As WhoScored shows, Tottenham’s No.17 recorded one key pass and embarked on two dribbles against Thomas Frank’s men.

Sissoko also made one tackle and completed one clearance.
Additionally, the 31-year-old saw both of his attempted crosses find a teammate, while he ended the night with a passing accuracy of 88.2%.
It was a fine, all-action display from the Frenchman, whose industry and effort under Jose Mourinho has been extremely noticeable.
If Sissoko can deliver a similar performance in the final against either Manchester United or Manchester City, then Spurs could be on the cusp of success.
It would be the north Londoners’ first piece of silverware since 2008, when Juande Ramos lifted the League Cup.
