Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation regarding Christian Eriksen.
According to a report in The Guardian published at 4:01pm on Monday January 4, 2021, Tottenham are interested in re-signing Eriksen from Inter Milan in the January transfer window.
It has been reported that Spurs could take the Denmark international attacking midfielder on loan from Inter as a potential replacement for Dele Alli, although it has been claimed that it would be a difficult deal to make.
Eriksen starred for Tottenham over the years and established himself as one of the best attacking midfielders in the Premier League before joining Inter in January 2020.
The 28-year-old Denmark international has failed to make a huge impact at Inter and has not adapted to head coach Antonio Conte’s system.
Tottenham have a very good team who are challenging for the Premier League title this season.
While Eriksen would not slot straight into head coach Jose Mourinho’s starting lineup, he would make the North London club stronger and better in attacking midfield as another option in the squad.
