Lee Dixon has ‘agreed’ on Twitter that Tottenham’s Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has been ‘one of the signings’ of the summer.
The former right-back was then told by an Arsenal fan that Thomas Partey has ‘more’ than the combative Spurs midfielder to which he responded ‘hope so’.
Hojbjerg has been a top performer for Spurs since his summer move from Southampton, whilst Partey has impressed in flashes during his brief time on the pitch.
Nonetheless, Times journalist, Henry Winter, spoke in awe of Hojbjerg after another high-quality performance during Tottenham’s win against Leeds on Saturday, with Dixon’s response.
Before Hojbjerg stepped foot into North London, there were question marks as to whether he could do the business at Spurs.
However, he has proved his critics wrong and his naturally aggressive style if suiting Jose Mourinho’s system.
As for Partey, he will just want to get back onto the field of play because injuries have disrupted the start of his Arsenal career.
Whilst the £45 million man [BBC Sport] would have been worried with what he has been seeing in recent weeks, he will be delighted with the three wins in three matches for Mikel Arteta.
