According to The Daily Mail, Bournemouth are interested in signing Tyler Roberts from Leeds United in the January transfer window.
It has been reported that the Championship club are losing at Roberts as a potential replacement for Josh King and/or David Brooks.
The 21-year-old, who can operate as a striker, winger or attacking midfielder, has been on the books of Leeds since 2018 when he joined from West Bromwich Albion for a transfer fee reported by The Daily Mail to be worth £2.5 million.
Squad player
Roberts has had injury problems during his time at Leeds, and although he has done well when he has played, he is essentially a squad player at the West Yorkshire club.
According to WhoScored, the Wales international has made two starts and six substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Whites so far this season.
During the 2019-20 campaign, the youngster made 12 starts and 11 substitute appearances in the Championship, scoring four goals and providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.
A move to Bournemouth, perhaps on loan, for regular first-team football could be tempting for Roberts.
