Some Leeds United fans on Twitter are absolutely loving what Patrick Bamford revealed recently.
Speaking on the club’s official podcast, Bamford claimed that United team-mate Ian Poveda needed something of a talking-to with regards to late arrivals.
But the Leeds striker also revealed that since being spoken to by some of the more senior players in Marcelo Bielsa’s squad, the 20-year-old is turning up early to training and doing solo work at Thorp Arch to improve himself as a player.
If true, it sort of illustrates the sort of harmony and environment that surrounds this very exciting squad of Whites players, with each one of them looking out for one another.
And here’s how some fans of the Elland Road club reacted to Bamford’s comments on Twitter:
Poveda will hope for more Premier League action during the second half of the campaign.
So far, the 20-year-old, who was signed from Manchester City a year ago, has only managed 270 minutes in England’s top flight on Leeds’ return to the big time.
And going by Bamford’s comments, it looks like he is totally committed to trying to change that from here on in.
