According to Tuttomercatoweb, West Ham United are interested in landing striker Graziano Pelle during his month’s transfer window.
It’s claimed that Pelle’s contract with Shandong Luneng came to an end on Thursday, and he is now ready to return to Europe.
A move back to Italy could be on the cards, with Juventus keen on adding an experienced striker, whilst Antonio Conte wants him at Inter Milan.
West Ham are in the race too though, as they allegedly want a veteran hitman to bolster David Moyes’ options up top.
The Hammers are allegedly attracted by Pelle’s prior record in England, having hit 30 goals in 81 games for Southampton.
Pelle is 35 though now, and even though he has smashed 61 goals in 125 games in China, some may worry if he is really up to life in the Premier League now.

West Ham also already have a big target man in Sebastien Haller, and have struggled to get the best out of him during his time in East London.
Would signing Pelle, who is even less mobile than Haller, really help West Ham? Maybe not, but maybe Moyes feels he is worth taking a punt on due to his free agent status.
