Norwich City fans on Twitter were purring over Oliver Skipp’s display as the Tottenham loanee helped his side record a 1-1 draw against QPR on Tuesday night.

Skipp played the entire match for his Championship table-topping side, as the Tottenham academy product was impressing once again.

It was a game of penalties as Teemu Pukki’s 75th minute spot-kick was cancelled out by Bright Osayi-Samuel’s less than ten minutes later.

Since his loan move from North London to the recently-relegated side, Skipp has been a regular in the middle of the park.

Norwich are six points ahead of third-placed Bournemouth in the table, but they have played two games more and they are also nine points clear of Stoke, who sit just outside of the play-offs.

At the very least, they should secure a play-off spot at the end of the season and they’ll be looking to Skipp to push them towards a return back to the Premier League.

Whatever happens, Skipp has taken his game to the next level in the rough nature of the Championship and his combative style would suit Jose Mourinho’s style down to the bone.

Whilst the more technically-gifted Harry Winks struggles for starts, his fellow academy product might just end up replacing him in the Spurs squad next season.

Here is a selection of Norwich fans reacting to Skipp’s performance from last night:
