Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react after footage of Borussia Dortmund maestro Julian Brandt emerged on Twitter.
Why does this concern the Gunners?
Best XI With Fewer Than 10 Caps
Well, The Athletic recently revealed that the Germany international was under consideration by the north Londoners ahead of a potential swoop for his services.
The footage in question shows Brandt – who joined Dortmund for £22.1 million – in action, highlighting his strengths and weaknesses.
Sadly, the 24-year-old isn’t having the best of seasons. The Bremen-born attacker has scored just once in 22 appearances across all competitions this term.
He also has just one assist to show for his efforts.

However, there’s no denying that Brandt has talent – a club like Dortmund wouldn’t have splashed a significant fee on him if he didn’t.
Arsenal certainly don’t need anymore out-of-form players, although if Mikel Arteta can get the creative German firing again, then a major problem would be solved.
The Gunners currently sit 14th in the ‘big chances created’ rankings, having made just 15 in 15 Premier League games this term.
A creative No.10 – such as Brandt – is definitely required, especially seeing as Mesut Ozil has been banished by Arteta.
Let’s see what the Arsenal fans on Twitter have been saying about the footage…
He’s similar to aouar. We need a complete attacking midfielder in January. The choice should be either him or aouar in The summer, my choice? Aouar because he’s younger and fits arteta system more

This is so accurate. We have an Aranguiz in Partey and a Havertz in Smith Rowe. A midfield 3 of these players will be like nitro. https://t.co/opNUMBvWXb
