Everywhere you look there have been improvements galore at Aston Villa and the club’s previously stuttering academy is no different.

Even though Villa have arguably produced their greatest academy product in Jack Grealish in recent times, many of the club’s youngsters were mismanaged under previous regimes.

But not anymore!

Aston Villa fans have seen the technically-gifted Jacob Ramsey impressing in his first Premier League start against Wolves recently, as there are three more quietly waiting in the wings and ready to pounce.

The Birmingham Mail claim that winger Jaden Philogene-Bidace, right-back Kaine Kesler and striker Louie Barry are the three players most likely in with a shot to join Ramsey in the first-team ranks.

For Villa supporters, highly-rated teenager Barry is perhaps the most familiar name given that he was signed from Barcelona after previously coming through the ranks of rivals West Brom.

It could be argued that Barry should be given a chance on the bench by Dean Smith and he’s someone the Villa Park faithful are eager to see given his hype.

But Smith is proving that if you are willing to showcase your worth in training then he will give you a chance, as he did with Ramsey at Wolves.

Grealish is the benchmark for these players because he has come through carrying that ball with such ease and is now regarded as one of the best playmakers in the land.

If anyone can match or better his rise during these coming years then they won’t be donning just the Villa shirt because they’ll be representing their country in next to no time also.
