Stella Tennant, the English born, Scottish model has died just days after her 50th birthday, her family has confirmed.

Stella is survived by her four children, and husband David Lasnet.

The model shot to fame after being photographed for British Vogue at the age of 22 in 1993.

Stella Tennant dies age 50

Stella Tennant has died at the age of 50, her family said.

The family statement said: “It is with great sadness we announce the sudden death of Stella Tennant on 22nd December 2020…

“Stella was a wonderful woman and an inspiration to us all. She will be greatly missed.”

“Her family ask for their privacy to be respected. Arrangements for a memorial service will be announced at a later date.”

They said her death was “sudden”, and police said there were “no suspicious circumstances”.

Who was Stella Tenant’s husband?

Tennant married French photographer turned osteopath David Lasnet in her hometown of Oxnam, Roxburghshire in the Borders of Scotland, on 22nd June 1999.

Stella and David have four children together Marcel, born 1998, Cecily, born 2001, Jasmine, born 2002, and Iris, born 2004.
