Rangers cruised to victory over St Johnstone and Ianis Hagi was at the heart of it

Rangers fans have singled out Ianis Hagi for praise after the young Romanian turned in his best performance of the season.
Hagi made an instant impression after arriving on loan at the start of the year, producing a series of strong displays and scoring twice in a memorable 3-2 comeback win against Braga at Ibrox.
The 22-year-old has endured a difficult campaign this time around, however, failing to cement a place in Steven Gerrard’s starting XI.
He was included from the star tonight, though, and more than justified the faith shown in him by Gerrard.

It was Hagi’s shot that was parried into the path of Kemar Roofe for the opener, and the roles were later reversed when Hagi converted after Roofe was denied.
That sealed a comfortable 3-0 victory for the league leaders, ensuring they remain 16 points ahead of Celtic.
Fans were delighted to see Hagi show what he’s capable of, and they were fulsome in their praise.
