‘Looking for the sack again’: Some Tottenham fans react to Mourinho’s comments

Tottenham fans on Twitter were left frustrated with Jose Mourinho claiming that his Tottenham side were the better team during their recent defeat to Leicester City.

After the match, Mourinho claimed that whilst the result might state that the Foxes were the better side given the result that was ‘not reality’, as he told Sky Sports.

A selection of Spurs fans disagreed with their manager and think he needs to stop talking in such a manner and seemingly accept poor performances.

The recent defeats have hurt Tottenham – Liverpool and Leicester – because it is against their direct title rivals, who have since gone above them in the table.

Whilst it’s not a complete disaster for those in North London, it is a setback nonetheless and more results and performances like this will only add fuel to the critics’ fire.

Tottenham are in EFL action against Stoke City tomorrow night before they take on Wolves at the weekend.
