NFL player Juju Smith-Schuster is being mocked online after he posted a TikTok video dancing on the Bengals logo before a game.
Juju Smith-Schuster has become a TikTok sensation, accumulating millions of followers on the app after posting a number of different dance videos.
However, it seems like he might have gone viral for all the wrong reasons, and the American football player is now being roasted online for his cocky dance before Monday’s NFL game.
Juju Smith-Schuster takes over TikTok
It seems that football isn’t the only talent that Steelers player Juju Smith-Schuster has, as he’s recently been taking over the social media app TikTok with his viral dance routines.
The 24-year-old wide receiver has gained a huge 2.6 million followers on the app and often gets up to 10 million views on his videos which always go viral and hit the For You page.
Known as just @juju on the app, he often dances to the popular song Corvette, and his routines have become hugely popular amongst TikTok users.
Watch him dance on the Bengals logo
Many people have just discovered Juju’s TikTok after a video went viral of him dancing on the Bengals logo.
The Pittsburgh Steelers were playing the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night (December 21st), and Juju took to the pitch pre-game to film his famous Corvette dance whilst standing on top of the Bengals logo which was painted onto the grass.
The video got a huge 8.3 million views and 439,000 likes. However, his cockiness definitely didn’t pay off as the Steelers ended up losing to the Bengals 27-17.
Juju gets mocked on Twitter for his viral TikTok dance
Following the Steelers’ loss, Juju has been mocked on Twitter for his viral TikTok dance.
“Hmmm Bengals stomp on the terrible towel & disrespect it years ago & could never beat us. Juju dancing on midfield team’s logos, curse is now switched. Juju I love you but for the love of god just quit the god damn stupid TikTok dances,” said another.
It seems as though Juju’s TikTok dances are actually going viral for all the wrong reasons, and many NFL fans have deemed his logo dance disrespectful, including players from the Bengals.
However, according to SteelersNow, Juju said that he’s not going to stop filming uploading videos on TikTok any time soon. He said:
“I’m not going to stop being myself. I’m going to be the Juju I’ve came in to be — authentic. TikTok is a new platform that I’ve used to touch my fans and grow. This is something I’ve been doing, since the start of the season, mid-season. I even did it on a Cowboys logo. So it’s like, it’s not just their logo, but the Steelers logo and, and I’m trying to just keep doing it, you know. I’m just having fun doing myself. … Yes, we lost. They had a few words to say, and it is what it is. So, yeah, I’m not gonna stop doing it.”
