Jingle bells are ringing sooner than ever before, as people have their last hopes for 2020 on a beautiful Christmas.

We love a bit of a Christmas miracle: Santa will bring us all joy and the new year will be corona-less. Whether that might not be the case, most of us are likely to get a cinematic sweet-tooth for the holiday season.

Christmas music and movies might be the best part of the holidays; nothing better to set you in the mood than Mariah’s “All I want for Christmas is you” and binge-watching The Grinch.

Narrated by Anthony Hopkins, starring Jim Carrey and Jeffrey Tambor, the movie was released in 2000 and made us fall in love with the hairy green character and his story.

The animated version of The Grinch that came out in 2018, narrated by Pharrell Williams and starring the voices of Benedict Cumberbatch and Rashida Jones, is available on Netflix.

After removing The Grinch last December and having to deal with grinchy costumers, Netflix has decided to bring back the animated version of the all-time classic movie and make this Christmas warmer.

Netflix features old-time classic festive movies but also comes up with their own Christmassy movies every year and they are just as good as the old ones.

Apart from the animated edition of everyone’s favourite Christmas villain, The Grinch, which is currently trending on the streaming service, here are five films on Netflix that will definitely get you in the holiday spirit this year.
