Everton and Southampton are competing for Leicester City winger Demarai Gray, according to 90min.
It has been reported that Leicester are prepared to let Gray leave in January and not run the risk of him leaving on a free next summer when his current contract at the Foxes runs out.
Tottenham Hotspur, Everton, Southampton and Crystal Palace are the clubs in the Premier League who are interested in the 24-year-old winger, according to the report.
Struggling for playing time
Gray is really struggling for playing time at Leicester at the moment, and it would make sense for him to leave the Foxes and find a new club when the transfer window opens in January.
According to WhoScored, the 24-year-old winger has made just one appearance in the EFL Cup so far this season, while during the 2019-20 campaign, he made three starts and 18 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Leicester.

Good signing for Everton?
Described by Leicester left-back Christian Fuchs as a winger who “can dribble past four or five players no problem” and who “can fall on the floor and still keep going. It is unbelievable” in Goal.com in April 2020, Gray is still a relatively young player who has a lot to offer, and under Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti, the 24-year-old could develop his game and fulfil his potential.
However, the Toffees do have a strong team, and Gray may not find it easy to go straight into the starting lineup.
