Where newcomers on the Christmas Rom-Com scene, such as The Holiday and Last Christmas, have attempted to muscle in on the action, it’s safe to say that Love Actually still comes out on top, 17 years after its initial release.

What’s not to love about the quintessentially British movie? From Hugh Grant playing the UK’s Prime Minister to Rowan Atkinson’s hilarious gift-wrapping scene, there’s a lot to celebrate when it comes to Love Actually which is probably why so many are wondering when exactly the staple Christmas movie is airing on TV!

Unfortunately for Freeview or Freesat users, as well as any other free-to-air TV options, it doesn’t look as though the film is airing over the Christmas period.

However, anyone with access to Sky Cinema is in luck! Love Actually is airing on Sky Cinema over the Christmas period almost every day at many different times. From morning showings at 10 am, to a lunchtime slot of 1:55 pm, and evening airings of 8 pm, it’s almost impossible to miss Love Actually this Christmas if you have Sky TV.

For Sky users, watching Love Actually is very easy this Christmas. Head over to Sky Cinema’s Drama section and you’ll have access to the movie. If you’d prefer to watch on a mobile device, Sky Go users can also access Love Actually in the same way.

However, if you’re not a Sky TV subscriber, you do have some other options.
