The latest episode (December 18) of ‘Blue Bloods’ paid tribute to late actor Nick Cordero. Nick had made an appearance on the show as Victor Lugo, and the show took a moment to remember his work as they dedicated the episode to him.
The news of Nick’s death had shocked the world. The actor had been battling coronavirus (COVID-19) for months. Before his death, Nick had done various shows and given the world a taste of his talent. He was seen in Mob Town, Going In Style, and others.

Nick Cordero was a Broadway actor who gained popularity over the years. He made his Broadway debut by taking up a role in ‘The Toxic Avenger.’ Nick also took on the role of Dennis in Rock of Ages on Broadway. However, one of his most noted roles happens to be in the musical Bullets Over Broadway. He took on the role of Cheech and was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for the same.
His career came to a stop when he was tested positive for COVID-19. The news of his death was broken by his wife, Amanda Klotts. “God has another angel in heaven now. My darling husband passed away this morning. He was surrounded in love by his family, singing and praying as he gently left this earth,” she wrote at that time.
She continued, “I am in disbelief and hurting everywhere. My heart is broken as I cannot imagine our lives without him. Nick was such a bright light. He was everyone’s friend, loved to listen, help and especially talk. He was an incredible actor and musician. He loved his family and loved being a father and husband. Elvis and I will miss him in everything we do, everyday.” To this date, Amanda often shares pictures of Nick on her social media.
