Gerard Butler’s Greenland arrives on our screens on December 18th but where can fans watch the film? Is Greenland on Netflix?

Greenland would have made the perfect summer disaster movie if its original cinema release had gone ahead.

Instead, the Gerard Butler-starring movie will be heading to screens on December 18th, 2020.

But just how and where will fans be able to watch the film? Is Greenland going to be available on Netflix?

Greenland was originally supposed to hit cinemas back on June 12th, 2020 but like many other movies was a casualty of the Covid-19 pandemic, instead releasing on December 18th, 2020.

The film, which stars Gerard Butler and Morena Baccarin, tells the story of a family’s fight for survival as a planet-destroying comet races towards Earth.

The Garrity family must leave the sanctuary of their home and experience the best and worst of humanity as they search for a safe haven from their impending doom.

As mentioned, the film’s cinema release was pushed back several times from June 2020 until it was cancelled altogether in favour of a digital release.

According to Deadline, however, Greenland will be coming to standard streaming services in early 2021 with HBO Max picking up the rights in the US while fans in the UK, Canada and Australia will be able to watch via Amazon Prime Video if they haven’t already caught its digital release.
