Everton picked up an impressive win on Wednesday evening, as they beat Leicester City 2-0 at the King Power Stadium.

The Toffees were in buoyant mood after beating Chelsea over the weekend, and followed that up with another strong performance.

Richarlison smashed Everton into the lead with a superb long-range striker that Kasper Schmeichel couldn’t keep from squirming through his fingers.

Leicester had a number of chances to get themselves level, but were made to pay when Mason Holgate scored from close range, having seen Dominic Calvert-Lewin hit the crossbar.

Everton saw out the game to claim a clean sheet and all three points, and fans have been hailing the performance of Alex Iwobi.

The Nigerian international started on the right flank against Leicester, playing further forward having been used as a wing-back in recent weeks.

Iwobi played the pass for Richarlison’s goal, and worked hard throughout as Everton claimed another win, with fans hailing him on Twitter.

Some feel that Iwobi looks like a different player right now, and is finally starting to repay the £35million Everton paid for him in 2019.

Many praised Carlo Ancelotti’s work with Iwobi, believing he has ‘done wonders’ to get so much out of the former Arsenal man.
