Arsenal are ready to move on William Saliba in the January transfer window, according to Eurosport.
It has been reported that there is no future at Arsenal for Saliba under manager Mikel Arteta.
The teenager was signed by then head of football Raul Sanllehi for the Gunners in the summer of 2019.
According to Sky Sports, Arenal paid Saint-Etienne £27 million in transfer fees for the 19-year-old, who spent the 2019-20 campaign on loan at the French club as part of the deal.
Eurosport has now claimed that there is belief at Arsenal that the teenager is not ready for the Premier League, and that the Gunners have made him available for transfer.
Leaving Arsenal in January
Saliba was not included in Arsenal’s Europa League squad for the group stage and has not featured in the Premier League so far this season.
Last season, the French teenager made 11 starts and one substitute appearance in Ligue 1 and played twice in the Europa League for Saint-Etienne, while in 2018-19, he made 13 starts and three substitute appearances in the league, according to WhoScored.
If the youngster is not going to get chances to play competitive football at Arsenal, then a move away from the Emirates Stadium on a loan deal in January would make sense.
