16-year-old prodigy Thierry Small has been spotted training with Everton’s first-team as he takes a big step in his development.
The teenager – who was described as a wonderkid by the BBC – is a seriously highly-rated prospect.

Recently, the Daily Mail revealed that Bayern Munich were interested in his services, while Juventus, Wolfsburg, Valencia, Monaco and Benfica are all keen to sign him as well.
In that same article, the Daily Mail mention that Small has been playing regularly for the Everton Under-23s and Under-18s, both of which are well above his age rank.
The Daily Mail also discuss comparisons with Bayern Munich star Alphonso Davies, who has recently been valued at €180 million (£165 million) by the CIES Football Observatory.

With the aforementioned points in mind, it’s safe to say that Small is, contrasting to his name, a massive talent.

Given his age, it feels unlikely that Carlo Ancelotti will be using the left-back anytime soon with Lucas Digne – who is currently injured – and Niels Nkounkou to choose from.
However, the reigning Everton Under-16 Player of the Year is doing all the right things. If he keeps up his unbelievable form at youth level, who knows how soon he’ll be involved in first-team football.
