Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react after Roberto Firmino described Divock Origi as ‘too lazy’ when playing a game with Alisson Becker.

The two Brazil internationals were playing a type of ‘guess who’ game, in which a Liverpool player’s name appears unknowingly above one of their heads, and the other has to give clues as to who it could be.

When Origi’s name flashes up above Alisson’s head, Firmino says ‘he’s too lazy’ before Alisson responds: ‘Oh, Div!’

The Brazilian duo then burst into fits of laughter.

They may just be having a laugh, but it offers a glimmer of insight into what the Belgium international is like around the AXA Training Centre.

Origi – who Liverpool paid £10 million for – has struggled for game time under Jurgen Klopp this season. In our view, if he is lazy, then that could be the reason as to why a boss as demanding as the German isn’t using him.

The former LOSC Lille attacker has only made one Premier League appearance this term, coming off the bench to play one minute against Leicester as WhoScored shows.

His role as understudy to Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah has been taken by Diogo Jota.

The future at Anfield is looking extremely bleak for the 25-year-old.

Let’s see how the Liverpool fans on Twitter reacted to Firmino calling his teammate lazy…
