Some Arsenal fans on Twitter have been lavishing praise upon Emile Smith-Rowe after his impressive display against Dundalk on Thursday evening.

The attacking midfielder put on an impressive display against the Irish outfit, picking up an assist, while also playing the joint-most key passes of anyone on the pitch.

Of course, this wasn’t against the best opposition in the world, with Dundalk not boasting and international stars or big-money signings, but to perform like that in any Europa League game is no easy feat.

As you can imagine, some Gunners supporters on Twitter got a little big carried away by the youngster’s performance.

There were immediately calls for him to get a chance in the Premier League, while one fan even questioned whether or not it would be worth signing Dominik Szoboszlai in January.

The youngster has been touted as the next big thing at Arsenal for quite some time now, and this performance adds even more fuel to the fire when it comes to the idea that he should get more chances in Mikel Arteta’s team.
