American actor Tommy ‘Tiny’ Lister has reportedly passed away this week aged 62, leaving behind his wife Felicia Forbes and daughter Faith.
Fans were devastated to find out the news that Tommy Lister, better known by the name ‘Tiny’ has died. The American actor and professional wrestler was most well known for playing the role of Deebo in the 1995 film Friday, and tributes to him have flooded Twitter.

Felicia Forbes is the wife of actor Tommy ‘Tiny’ Lister.
Born in Cape Town, South Africa, the 48-year-old met Tiny when he was filming for one of his movies in South Africa, and they dated for a short amount of time before getting married in 2003.
She’s was a missionary who was a minister in Cape Town, however, after marrying Tommy she moved to California and is now a Human Resources Business Partner at ABM AVIATION, INC.
It is believed that the pair recently separated after Tiny was spotted with a new girlfriend in 2019, however they were not yet divorced.
The pair have one daughter together called Faith.
Tommy ‘Tiny’ Lister dies aged 62
Tommy ‘Tiny’ Lister is reported to have passed away at the age of 62.
According to the Daily Mail, he was found dead on December 10th in his apartment in Marina Del Rey after his family and friends hadn’t heard from him for a while.
Police told TMZ that he is believed to have died of natural causes, but an autopsy will be conducted to investigate his cause of death.
His manager told PEOPLE that he had shown coronavirus symptoms earlier this week and also suffered with Covid-19 earlier this year.
Tributes to Deebo flood Twitter
Following the news of his death, many fans have flocked to Twitter to post tributes to the popular actor.
“I have always had the tradition of watching #Friday at the start of the weekend. I am ver sad to hear of the passing of #TinyLister AKA #Deebo I’ve always heard he was a gentle giant. This movie will never be the same,” said one person.
A number of Tiny’s celebrity friends made tributes on Twitter too.
MC Hammer said: “One of the nicest dudes you would have ever met. We wrestled like kids every time we hung out or ran into each other. Big Heart. God Loving Man. R.I.P. Tiny.”
Rapper Ice Cube also expressed his condolences to Tiny and tweeted: “RIP Tiny “Deebo” Lister. America’s favorite bully was a born entertainer who would pop into character at the drop of a hat terrifying people on and off camera. Followed by a big smile and laugh. Thank you for being a good dude at heart. I miss you already.”
