Everton fans have every right to be unhappy after they were held to a 1-1 draw against a struggling Burnley side at Turf Moor on Saturday afternoon, but there was at least one thing to shout about during the game.
Indeed, despite the disappointing result, fans on social media have been raving about the performance of Alex Iwobi once again.
The Nigerian has earnt a lot of plaudits as of late in his new position, being deployed as a right-wing-back in recent weeks, and once again, supporters were extremely pleased by what they saw from him.
Iwobi was one of the Toffees’ bright sparks going forward, playing two key passes and putting in 10 crosses.
Unfortunately, nobody was able to make the most of Iwobi’s creativity and he ended the game without an assist to his name.
However, supporters on social media were still over the moon with what he produced against Burnley, and there were a number of Toffees fans rushing to praise him on Twitter.
