Ian Wright wrote a classy message to Trent Alexander-Arnold on Instagram after sitting down and having an interview with the Liverpool star.

Alexander-Arnold posted an Instagram message about the Liverpool fans and how ‘it means more when you’re our 12th man’.

Football fans across the country haven’t been able to support their team from the stands because of the virus and government guidelines.

Albeit some fans were allowed back into stadiums last night and more will be able to return to their seats at the weekend, for most, it’s still a wait.

Nonetheless, this is the message Arsenal legend Wright sent to Alexander-Arnold on Instagram:

‘Loved every minute of our conversation,” said the popular TV pundit. “I watched the interview back and couldn’t stop smiling!

“The way you speak about the fans and Anfield is truly special. It was the one ground I couldn’t wait to play at despite getting hammered 9-0!

“You are an absolute credit to your family, the city and the club. Luv ya. And Tyler and send my luv to Mum.”

Even though Alexander-Arnold is years away from hitting his peak, he is already a club legend, which speaks volumes in regards to what he has achieved at the club.

The amazing thing is that there is still more to come from the forward-thinking right-back, who could become one of Liverpool’s greatest ever players.

And it would mean more to the fans if he is at the top of that list in a decades time because he is one of their own.
