
Liverpool midfielders Xherdan Shaqiri and James Milner are considered ‘major doubts’ to play against Wolves by the Liverpool Echo.
Jurgen Klopp confirmed that Shaqiri and Milner had picked up injury issues earlier this week, and it seems that the Liverpool duo could be missing again at the weekend.
That blow is compounded as the Echo also report that Thiago and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain won’t be fit.
Liverpool now face the prospect of taking on Wolves with four potential options in central midfield all sidelined.
The Reds will likely line-up with Curtis Jones, Jordan Henderson and Georginio Wijnaldum as their options in the centre of midfield, but their squad is being seriously tested.
Liverpool have a number of key players sidelined, with the likes of Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk long-term absentees and Alisson also set to be out on Sunday evening.

Liverpool have continued to pick up points relentlessly, even with so many players out.
