Megan Thee Stallion’s diss track

In her new album Good News, which was released on November 20th, Megan Thee Stallion included a diss track to both Tory Lanez and Kelsey Nicole and addressed their beef.

The track is aptly titled Shots Fired, and she claims that Kelsey took ‘hush-money’ from Tory Lanez’ camp. Lyrics about Kelsey include:

“Watching me succeed from your knees,

Suckin’ d***

I know you want attention from the n***** that I get

I’m a steak, you a side plate

Shrimp, stay in your place”

The track also samples Notorious B.I.G’s song Who Shot Ya, about the shooting of Tupac.

Kelsey Nicole’s diss track

In response to Megan’s diss track about her, Kelsey Nicole released Bussin Back yesterday, sharing the song to her Instagram with her side of the beef.

She captioned the video: “Y’all talked y’all s***, let my ‘SHRIMP’ a** talk my s*** too. I was built for this. No weapon formed against me shall prosper #BUSSINBACK out now.”

The diss track hits back at Megan’s track, using the beat from Tupac’s Hit Em Up, a song creating during beef with Notorious B.I.G, who Megan Thee Stallion sampled in hers.

Notable lyrics read:

“Are you lying to your label

Do they really know what happened

(Who shot ya)

‘Cause you know it wasn’t me

I was 10 toes down whenever you had beef

It’s a goddamn shame

All you had to do was clear your best friend’s name

All you had to do is keep it real and stay the same

But you switched up on me for the money and the fame”

Kelsey spoke about the diss track and beef with Megan on an Instagram Live, saying: “I wasn’t your enemy, you made me your enemy. We stopped f***ing with each other, but I wasn’t your enemy.” She went on to explain that she feels she earned her right to respond after Megan made a diss track first.

Kelsey Nicole and Megan Thee Stallion’s beef

Although both diss tracks tell us a lot about the beef between Kelsey Nicole and Megan Thee Stallion, there’s still a lot left in the dark about their friendship.

The pair first started showing cracks between them when they unfollowed one another in September. This came shortly after Kelsey responded to a fan speculating she was given hush-money and signed an NDA: “Na, I ain’t got paid s***, I should though huh the way folks making s*** up.”

After Megan released her diss track, Kelsey Nicole went live on Instagram and alleged that Megan had been “messing with” men she was with first.

In response to Kelsey’s track, Megan tweeted laughing emojis before posting a picture of her and her friends with their middle fingers up.
