Niantic has announced a big update for Pokémon Go Beyond and Season Six, but there is also now a Lake Legends event for trainers to participate in. This event allows players to get the lake trio of Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf, and here you’ll discover how to get Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf as raid bosses in Pokémon Go seeing as they’re in different regions.

Know that the Lake Legends event in Pokémon Go only lasts until November 30th at 22:00 local time. Trainers should also be aware that there is currently a 12 Days of Friendship event which will conclude on the same day at 13:00 PT, and this is a great way to prepare for the huge Go Beyond update thanks to its increased XP and attack boosts for raids.

However, away from 12 Days of Friendship, below you’ll discover how to get the guardians trio of Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf as five-star raid bosses.

Pokémon Go Lake guardians

The Pokémon Go Lake trio of guardians are available to get during the Legends event.

However, in addition to the Lake trio of guardians, the Pokémon Go Legends event also offers a lot more.

Pokémon Legends Arceus: A familiar region. A new story.

Creatures typically found and associated with water will be appearing more frequently in the Wild:

  • Psyduck
  • Abra
  • Kadabra
  • Machop
  • Machoke
  • Lickitung
  • Goldeen
  • Magikarp
  • Ralts
  • Surskit
  • Starly
  • Bidoof
  • Shellos

These Pokémon Go creatures will also be hatching from 5km Eggs, and those who are lucky could catch a Shiny Goldeen.

How to get Uxie, Mesprit and Azalf raids in Pokémon Go

The Lake trio guardians of Uxie, Mesprit, and Azalf are available to get in raids for Pokémon Go depending on your region:

  • Uxie – Asia-Pacific
  • Mesprit – Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India
  • Azelf – Americas and Greenland

The above restrictions mean that only one of the Lake trio guardians will be appearing for you in raids depending on where you live.

However, it’s possible to participate in Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf raids by using Remote Raid Passes.

Remote Raid Passes will allow you to compete in Raid Battles all over the world via invitation, so Europeans – for example – will need to find a friend in the Americas and Asia-Pacific to get Azelf and Uxie.

You can try to find a friend in other regions by scouring Twitter and Reddit, or you can join Discords such as Pokémon Go Remote Raids which has 28,000+ members, or The Silph Road which boasts 53,000+ members.
