Arsenal fans on Twitter were once again praising goalkeeper Bernd Leno after he secured a clean sheet during his side’s goalless draw at Elland Road.

The 28-year-old was in fine form as Marcelo Bielsa’s side created numerous chances during a high-intensity and controversial encounter in Yorkshire.

Nicolas Pepe was sent off early in the second half for a headbutt on Ezgjan Alioski, which has understandably made the headlines.

Despite being at a disadvantage, Leno ensured that he kept the ball out of the net and Arsenal fans were lauding the German for being a positive on the night.

Whilst Arsenal have struggled to show progression since their FA Cup win, like last season, Leno continues to be a consistent performer for an inconsistent team.

It could be argued that Leno is one of the best keepers in the league because he isn’t being appreciated enough outside of North London.

On paper, Arsenal would have wanted three points and needed three points, but at the end of the day, it was a point gained given the situation they ended up in.

Nonetheless, Arsenal fans were full of praise for Leno after he was on song once again between the sticks:
