Micky Hazard has raved about Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane on Twitter for his performance against Manchester City.
The former Tottenham star was impressed by the display produced by Kane during the North London club’s 2-0 win against City at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League.
The England international was instrumental in the second goal on 65 minutes. The striker picked up the ball on the halfway line, ran forward and then passed it to Giovani lo Celso to score.
The striker was also involved in the first goal as he made space for Son Heung-min, had a goal ruled out, worked hard for the team and helped out defensively.
According to WhoScored, the 27-year-old played one key pass, had a pass accuracy of 64.3%, took 48 touches, and made three tackles and one clearance.
Kane has scored seven goals and provided nine assists in nine Premier League matches, and has scored one goal and provided one assist in two Europa League games, according to WhoScored.
Tottenham’s win against City will have certainly boosted their confidence of challenging for the Premier League title this season.
