How to get the Ciao Filter on Snapchat

You may have seen people using the Ciao Filter across many social media platforms, including Instagram and TikTok. But, to use the filter you actually have to head to Snapchat.

This filter is created by Snapchat, so usually appears as a saved filter on your home screen. But if it’s not there, here’s how to find it.

  • Open Snapchat and go to the camera screen.
  • Click on the smiley face on the right-hand side of the camera button.
  • Click on ‘explore’ in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
  • In the search bar at the top, type ‘ciao mood’.
  • Now click on the filter and take your photo or video!
