Who plays Olivia in The Princess Switch: Switched Again? The sequel recast the part but who exactly is the new actress? Let’s explain!

Festive viewing has officially begun in many households and audiences have been treated to a new title courtesy of Netflix!

The streaming service has unveiled a number of festive efforts already, from Holidate to The App that Stole Christmas. However, much buzz currently surrounds The Princess Switch: Switched Again, a sequel to the 2018 film The Princess Switch.

Audiences have been invited to stream it from Thursday, November 19th 2020 and the likes of Vanessa Hudgens and Nick Sagar have returned to reprise their roles.

Directed by Mike Rohl, the plot centres on the duchess of Montenaro – Margaret Delacourt – inheriting the Montenaro throne. However, shortly before her Christmas coronation, she and Stacy swap places again so Margaret can work on things with Kevin.

Who plays Olivia in The Princess Switch: Switched Again?

  • The character of Olivia in The Princess Switch: Switched Again is played by Mia Llloyd.

Mia Lloyd didn’t portray Olivia in the 2018 film as the part was actually recast.

It was Alexa Adeosun who played Kevin’s daughter in the first movie.

The role of Oliva marked Alexa’s screen debut and she went on to star as Young Nyela in an episode of The Athena the following year. It’s uncertain why she didn’t reprise the part in The Princess Switch sequel.

Olivia played a rather significant role in helping Kevin and Stacy find love and the follow-up sees her continue to do much of the same as a pre-teen.

Now, where exactly we have seen Mia before?

Mia Lloyd: Previous roles

The young actress is a newcomer and only began appearing on screens in 2020.

According to IMDb, she was first introduced to viewers on the TV series Flesh and Blood, playing Maddie across numerous episodes.

Additionally, she played Stephanie in Netflix’s The Duchess which dropped in September.

That leads us into The Princess Switch: Switched Again, so she’s essentially just getting started.
