Fabinho has delighted Liverpool fans as he confirmed that he has nearly made it back from injury now.

Fabinho has been missing with a hamstring injury for Liverpool’s last three matches, but was pictured back in training yesterday.

And the Brazilian has now confirmed that he is close to making a return to action on Twitter.

Fabinho’s return could hardly be timed better, with Liverpool’s injuries stacking up.

The Reds are without Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk at the back, so Fabinho may be required to play in central defence when he does return to full fitness.

Fabinho has previously coped well at centre-back, but he will be tested when asked to play alongside Joel Matip rather than Virgil van Dijk.

Unfortunately for Liverpool, despite the positive tweet, Fabinho remains a doubt for this weekend, when Jurgen Klopp’s side set to take on Leicester City.
