Zendaya is the latest star to be on the cover of Essence magazine.

The actress is one of the most successfulul stars in the acting world in the last few years and her career is going stronger than ever.

Zendaya made a name for herself on Disney Channel in shows such as Shake It Up and K.C. Undercover and quickly made a huge impression in the film industry with her roles in Marvel’s Spider-Man films and The Greatest Showman.

She reached another milestone in her career after becoming the youngest actress to earn a Primetime Emmy Award for her role in Euphoria.

Zendaya lands Essence magazine cover

The Euphoria actress has landed a cover on Essence as part of the magazine’s 50th anniversary this year.

The 24-year-old star made history after winning a 2020 Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.

In her cover story for Essence, Zendaya paid homage to the iconic supermodel Donyale Luna who was the first African-American model to appear on the cover of Vogue UK (March 1996).

Zendaya took to Twitter and wrote:

“This was an absolute honor to grace this very special 50th anniversary cover of @essence while paying tribute to the iconic Donyale Luna, often credited as the first black supermodel.”
