Tottenham Hotspur look set to move on from Dele Alli in the near future, and that may just mean a new playmaker comes in.
One interesting rumour has emerged in recent days, with 90Min reporting that Spurs are interested in signing Red Bull Salzburg star Dominik Szoboszlai.
Liverpool, Everton, Manchester United, Leicester City, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Arsenal are all thought to be keen too, so he would be a huge capture for Spurs.
Szoboszlai was a star at Salzburg last season, racking up 12 goals and 18 assists, before adding five goals and nine assists in his first 13 games this term.
The 20-year-old playmaker can operate centrally or out wide, and became a national hero in Hungary as he fired his country to the European Championships with a stunning last-gasp goal against Iceland last week.
Szoboszlai is quick and technically gifted, whilst his ability to score from long range and set pieces may make him the ideal heir to Christian Eriksen having let him go earlier this year.

At 6ft 1in tall, Szoboszlai also has the size that Jose Mourinho should appreciate – and Tottenham fans have been reacting to the rumours.
Some are ‘on their knees’ begging Tottenham to sign Szoboszlai, believing that he would be ‘massive’ and is a ‘must’.
Others think that Spurs will live to regret it if they don’t sign him, comparing him to Jack Grealish as a playmaker who could be worth much, much more in the future – and ultimately out of Tottenham’s range if they don’t sign him now.
