Donald Trump made a very amusing spelling error in one of his tweets today, and now he’s getting mocked by Twitter users.
Not a day goes by where Donald Trump doesn’t make himself a laughing stock. The President gets ridiculed pretty often on social media, and he usually brings it upon himself.
Today, Trump jokes are filling Twitter after he made a blunder in one of his tweets. Everyone makes typos every now and again, but when you’re the President, it’s never going to go unnoticed.
Trump makes hilarious typo on Twitter
Donald Trump took to his official Twitter @realDonaldTrump on Thursday (November 19th) to tweet about some new Covid-19 drugs that are now available.
However, Twitter users failed to take him seriously because he made a big spelling error in the middle of the sentence.
Typing in all capitals, Trump said: “THE COVID DRUGS NOW AVAILABLE TO MAKE PROPLE BETTER ARE AMAZING, BUT SELDOM TALKED ABOUT BY THE MEDIA! Mortality rate is 85% down!”
He was supposed to say “people” but instead wrote “prople” – and people have been reacting to his hilarious error on Twitter.
Twitter users react to the ‘PROPLE’ typo
The blunder has been noticed by people across the globe who are all filling Twitter with ‘prople’ jokes directed back at Donald Trump. Here are some of the most hilarious responses.
So who are these ‘prople’s’ he speaks of? Are the Covid drugs curing these Aliens before us humans?
The US Covid death toll has now reached over 200,000. Sorry Trump, I don’t think the ‘prople’s’ mortality rate is down 85%.
After seeing the word #prople trending, you could assume it was a Trump terror before you even looked.
One of the biggest world leaders and he cannot spell. Oh dear.
This version of the Constitution certainly has a ring to it.
Some people are counting down the days to his departure from the White House.
Donald is not one of the ‘prople’!
Some people were actually really confused.
Who remembers Trump’s ‘covfefe’ typo back in May?
Ah yes, that famous Depeche Mode song.
We’re not ‘prople’ we are PEOPLE!
It’s the new ‘covfefe’
People are dubbing the ‘prople’ spelling mistake as the new ‘covfefe’, referring to a joke from earlier in the year.
If you’re not familiar, back in May 2020, Trump made another typo in one of his tweets which ended up becoming a viral meme.
Just after midnight on May 31st, he tweeted: “Despite the constant negative press covfefe.”
He deleted the tweet six hours later and no one ever found out what he actually meant to say.
