No exit for Khedira materialised, but due to Pirlo refusing to hand the former Real Madrid man a single minute of action, the midfielder is thinking of a January departure from Turin.
In that respect, if Nuno Espirito Santo or David Moyes wanted to reignite their interest in the 33-year-old, they will presumably have a decent chance of landing him.
Should Khedira make a move to the Premier League, then England’s top-flight will be welcoming a player of some pedigree.
