According to Bild, Sami Khedira is keen to leave Juventus in January after being frozen out by Andrea Pirlo.
No exit for Khedira materialised, but due to Pirlo refusing to hand the former Real Madrid man a single minute of action, the midfielder is thinking of a January departure from Turin.
In that respect, if Nuno Espirito Santo or David Moyes wanted to reignite their interest in the 33-year-old, they will presumably have a decent chance of landing him.
Should Khedira make a move to the Premier League, then England’s top-flight will be welcoming a player of some pedigree.
The Stuttgart-born midfielder has previously won the World Cup and Champions League throughout his trophy-laden career.
Khedira has also lifted one Bundesliga title and one La Liga title.
Since joining Juventus on a free transfer from Real Madrid, the former Stuttgart player has racked up 145 appearances for the Italian giants.
In that time, he has scored 21 goals and recorded 13 assists – now, however, his time at Juventus looks to be coming to an due to Pirlo’s reluctance to play him.
